The one where Pink desperately wants to be my friend
Dude. Pink *so* wants to be me. I caught the MTV premier of her "Don't Let Me Get Me" video today, & she'd be hard pressed to be copying me any harder. Most particularly, her hair in the charred teddy bear/neon motorcycle scene is almost identical to mine (only hers was only pulled back on the sides, not shaved. Wussy). Yeah, so if anyone asked, I looked like this, first. She's copying me, not the other way 'round. Though I do relate to her song. Not so much just at the moment, but sometimes. Don't let me get me Thanks, BTW, to everyone who sent me happy b-day wishes, as well as those who expressed concern over my absence. You guys rawk. In case you were wondering, I'm fine (or as fine as I get, anyway... I'm still overwhelmed w/ dread at the thought of getting a job & I'm still car-less, but everything else is pretty peachy). I've been super busy w/ strange & pointless model horse activities, which suck up all of my free time & prevent me from making diary entries. Besides, I was starting to bore myself, here, so I think I needed a break. I'll try not to be such a complete stranger from here on out. It's weird how my perception of myself, my life, & how I choose to spend my time can change so dramatically so quickly. One day I'm a kick-ass goddess-like being who's in the top 10 on Clix, or building an important imaginary horse-breeding dynasty. The next day, I'm a pathetic, dysfunctional shut-in wasting her time on the most trivial things imaginable. Right now, I'm just tired. Somebody please explain to me why I'm suddenly diurnal, now that I don't have a job or any other reason to be awake during the day? ::sigh:: Don't let me get me I'm my own worst enemy Its bad when you annoy yourself So irritating Don't wanna be my friend no more I wanna be somebody else
